Went shopping with James today and busted another round of cash. Sigh.
Anyway, finally met up with Jamie, Grace, **GINA (hahahah I hope she doesn't read this), Faith, Sheril & Shab for dinner. Wasn't all of us 'cause Mel had a dinner and Mansh isn't back from Melbourne, but we still had a blast of a time at our regular eatery, Fish & Co at the glasshouse where we often crop up fake birthdays because we want ice cream on the house (ha ha, so cheapo) and always make so much noise, we probably create sufficient sound waves to heat up a cup of coffee (which by the way, requires a hell lot of it).
We took turns to update each other about the happenings in each of our lives because we hadn't met in the LONGEST time, and it took a whole round of updating for me to only realise that the 'dating' section in my life is not only stagnant, but pathetic.
:(
I thoroughly enjoy the freedom and joy of being single, but you got to admit that it really sucks when everyone around you are have blossomingly beautiful dating lives while you're there, unmoving and bored, wondering when the next hey-handsome! is going to come along. I haven't dated much so far, but it IS true that it feels sugar sweet when even though your day has treated you badly, all it takes is a nice fuzzy hug from that significant someone to feel like the world is suddenly colourful and bright again.
Then Zai mentioned later at night online: "BUDS BEFORE STUDS. WHO NEEDS A MAN?" And the true feminist in me returned. :P
All I need is God, friends, family and my shoes. :D
Speaking of which, I bought a pair of really pretty shoes from Zara today whoopeee.
Aaaaaaaand because everybody loves a picture entry:
